Graduation ball

Last wednesday we had our graduation ball in summertown. It was a James Bond themen party with casino tables. Almost every student attended there, so did all the teachers. We got some buffet and music. After our arrivings we could take some pictures and get them prited the same time. All in all it was great fun but a shame that that was at the end of my year in Oxford.

Hot weather - A day at the pool

The last few days it was pretty hot in England. The temperature reached up to 27°C.
So we decided to go to a pool yesterday and eventually found one in Woodstock, not far away from Oxford. I went there with Veronika, Lau, Eric and Nico. We arrived there at 3 o´clock and stayed for a while. The only problem was that the pool was a little small and so the bus ride and the entrance we paid wasn´t it maybe worth. Anyway it was good to be in some cold water during the heat.

Class trip to Exeter

Last Wednessday we went for a class trip in terms of CAS to Exeter. We went highwire climbing there the first day and went to our hostel later. Afterwards we were looking for a pub and find eventually one after quite a long walk. The next morning we had to get up quite early but got therefore a nice English breakfast. After the breakfast we went by bus to the channel for kayaking but unfortunately it begun to rain but we got some boats and started though. Actually I dont like kayaking but it was quite fun. After we reached totally sodden the turning point we were all a litlle pissed but after a warm drink we were motivated enough to go on our way back. Somehow some Chinese took the wrong way though and just left there boat behind because of the weather so Robin, Lau, Eric, Rob and I had to get them back in the heavy rain.
All in all it was a nice trip but really exhausting and I guess we were all happy to be back in Oxford Thursday afternoon.

And an other epic weekend

This weekend I went with Lau, Veronika, Fanny, Dan, Stella and Celina to London for goining to the Ministry of Sound. We went by train and I have to say that english trains and railwaystations are not as good as german´s, or just: they suck. Anyway, after 1 houre we arrived to Paddington station and took a taxi to our motel, which was pritty close to the club. After some drinking and waiting for some other guys in the motel we went to the Ministry of Sound for a really funny night out. I actually expected something more special and bigger but the music was cool and the people as well. However, it was an expensive weekend.

Cambridge

Some weeks ago I went to Cambridge with Lau, Fanny and Veronika. We were visiting the city and went out at night, which was a funny but long night :D

Nice weather, finally :D

Today was finally a really nice day. It started with sunshine and a nice temperature.
The whole day was sunny through and we had finally a feeling, and hope that the weather in England gets better. Maybe there is a chance to notice something from "global warming", which was till now just a joke.

Today I went with Nico and Oliver into a sauna because of these bloody weather here in England, though the sun came out in the afternoon. But usaly it gets very cold during the evening and we had snow again some days ago.
Last week we had "study week" so we wrote some IOLTES-exames and had some charity projects. The rest of England had halfterm, so a whole week off, we just two days. Tomorrow I have to go to school again and continue studying :D
